Startup Saturday Delhi is crossing its 125th milestone!

Startup Saturday is one of India's most popular startup events. It is organized on the 2nd Saturday of every month across 23+ cities in India by Headstart Network Foundation, a non-profit organization committed to transforming the entrepreneurial ecosystem of the country.

Headstart Delhi's Startup Saturday helps entrepreneurs in navigating obstacles and challenges of running a startup. The agenda of the SS is to allow for engaging networking events, informative presentations, enlightening panel discussions and didactic mentoring sessions by the savants of the industries.

Over the last 11 years, Startup Saturday has given early-stage entrepreneurs a platform to showcase their ideas, network with fellow entrepreneurs, search for team members/co-founders and learn from entrepreneurs who share their experiences on the #SSDEL platform. 

This May, We are crossing the 125th milestone and we are excited to invite you to be a part of the celebration.

The 125th edition puts together a brilliant panel discussion with startup veterans, and keynotes from one of the biggest names in the ecosystem, Fireside chats with some legendary entrepreneurs and startup pitches.
The event will bring together 25+ speakers from the cadre of marquee investors, serial entrepreneurs and domain experts from diverse backgrounds to share their views and opinions.

In the spirit of its 125th anniversary, Headstart Delhi is also like to invite you to its Kickstart event, where 15 startups will be shortlisted and given an opportunity to pitch in the front of a panel of 15+ Investors and esteemed judges from the Delhi-NCR ecosystem and battle it out to convince the jury of your fundability.

Praveen Sinha

Praveen is currently the Managing Director of PinCap, an alternative lending platform focused on bridging the debt financing gap for MSMEs. He is currently also the external member of Committee of Startups (CoS) which is part of PSU fund to invest in startups.
In his prior role at Jabong as Co-Founder and Managing Director of the company. Praveen’s role encompasses looking after the entire operations capability along with supply chain management, assisted sales, finance, human resources and administration. Jabong was founded in Oct 2011 and Praveen has played a critical leadership role in its phenomenal ramp up. Innovative ideas at various stages and speed of implementation have resulted in establishing Jabong as one of the top most sites in India.
Praveen's work in recent times has made him emerge as a focused business leader. Prior to Oct 2011, he has worked with Mckinsey on transformation projects in South East Asia and India. Digbijoy has over a decade of wide-ranging experience across diverse sectors, initially started his career in education marketing with reputed educational institutes and then subsequently joined the advertising and events industry to execute several projects including a state election campaign for a national party, conceptualizing and running a restaurant chain in Delhi and several other projects.

He joined the Delhi chapter of The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE Delhi), where he worked for over three years and drove various key initiatives like mentoring, deal flow, marketing, sponsorship's, etc and left his last position as Associate Director of the chapter in 2008 to pursue his entrepreneurial ambitions. He subsequently joined techTribe- India's largest Career Networking platform where he served as director strategic relations and drove unique initiatives and partnerships for building and sustaining community engagement. Post techTribe he was part of the core team of an online supplemental education start-up TenMarks Education which was acquired by Amazon in early October 2013.

He then joined Ennovent a seed stage accelerator/fund and eventually managed the country office for Ennovent India which is a global innovation company that helps clients accelerate innovations for sustainability in low-income markets in developing countries. Since 2008, Ennovent has worked with around 60 clients to accelerate over 250 innovations in 15 countries. Ennovent envisions a sustainable future for low-income people in developing countries.

Currently, he leads the startup BD function at Amazon Internet Services to drive adoption of cloud infrastructure for VC/Angel/Accelerator backed companies in India.

Erik Azulay is a technology commercialization expert and serial entrepreneur specializing in small business startups and international market strategies. He has managed commercialization and incubation projects in 12 countries around the world, and launched and sold two logistics companies based in the United States and Russia. Mr. Azulay was also the director for the World Bank Innovation Program in Kazakhstan, where he oversaw the creation and running of the National Technology Commercialization Center. He now serves as the Chairman of the International Science and Commercialization Board, which oversees the $110 million second phase of the Program in Kazakhstan.

Saurabh is Vice President at Paytm. He is heading the ‘Paytm - Build for India’ program and

educational initiatives within Paytm. Saurabh also manages the relationships with various
industry bodies including NASSCOM, CII, FICCI, TiE, PHDCCI etc.
